CHEP+ (C-CHANGE Education Program)
CHEP+ (CHEP Plus) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2018 representing the continuing education and professional development arm of the Canadian Cardiovascular Harmonized National Guidelines Endeavour (C-CHANGE).
Our mission is to improve health care quality and patient safety by supporting clinicians with enhanced professional development and health education.
CHEP+ brings together a multi-disciplinary group of healthcare professionals with the commitment to provide high quality, up-to-date continuing professional development programs with the aim of improving clinical practice and patient outcomes. CHEP+ programs are designed to be engaging and relevant to health care professionals managing today’s complex patient.

Scientific Planning Committee
The Scientific Planning Committee Members help to define the scope of CPD programs that CHEP+ provides. They work alongside members of C-CHANGE and guideline panel members to ensure the integrity of the programs to the C-CHANGE recommendations and practice relevancy to primary care health professionals.
CHEP+ and the Scientific Planning Committee operates under the following principles:

Accountability to its target members and audience;

Competency-based;

Informed decision making as a committee through the input and consultation from relevant stakeholders such as professional bodies, accreditors, CPD providers, and make final judgements based on the committee members decisions;

Consensus building to develop processes.
